Inner Paradox 3 was made in memorial to the tragedy of September 11.  The design featured The Tower tarot card from CLAMP's X Major Arcana.  The Tower represents upheaval and cataclysm that shakes the foundations of ones beliefs and throws one into freefall.  It's not hard to see the parallel between the tower on the card, in this case Tokyo Tower, and the towers of the World Trade Center.

The symbolism of The Tower goes beyond merely that of a terrible event.  It speaks of a wake-up call, and fits that event into the sequence of the Major Arcana.  After The Tower comes The Star, a renewal of hope and purity.  And not far in the distance are The Sun, the spirit of generosity . . . and Judgment.
