What I call "Version X" of Inner Paradox was never uploaded. I created it as an exercise to show my sister some tricks and techniques in web design, while trying to convince her to start her own blog, and I made it especially pretty and graphics intensive just because. By the time I had finished slicing and coding it, I had fallen in love with it enough that I wanted to use it for myself. The design features Miaka and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi and lyrics from the OVA song "Shiawase ni Narou" (Let's Be Happy). Since it wasn't really designed with Inner Paradox in mind, it doesn't really match the title, but since when did blog designs have to match, anyway? Unfortunately, I was still tweaking the design when September 11 happened, and I wanted to make a memorial layout, which became Version 3, and I was too lazy to change the text and reslice this version, so it was never used. I'm glad I can at least somewhat share it now, though by no means is it to be taken as a typical example of the kinds of layouts that don't make it to the web. |
